1. Introduction

This Pet Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is made between the Pet Owner ("Owner") and the Pet Renter ("Renter") through the CritterShare platform. This document outlines the terms and conditions for the temporary rental of the pet specified in the rental details.

2. Renter's Responsibilities

• To provide a safe, clean, and secure environment for the pet.
• To provide adequate food, water, and exercise as per the pet's care instructions provided by the Owner.
• To not leave the pet unattended for excessive periods.
• To contact the Owner or a designated veterinarian immediately in case of any health concerns or emergencies.
• To not allow the pet to interact with other animals unless approved by the Owner.

3. Health and Veterinary Care

The Owner confirms the pet is in good health and up-to-date on all vaccinations. The Renter agrees to follow all medical instructions. In case of a medical emergency, the Renter is authorized to seek veterinary care and will be reimbursed for pre-approved costs, provided the emergency was not due to the Renter's negligence.

4. Return of Pet

The Renter agrees to return the pet on the agreed-upon date and time. Any extension must be mutually agreed upon through the CritterShare platform. Failure to return the pet may result in additional fees and legal action.

5. Liability

The Renter assumes responsibility for the pet's well-being during the rental period. The Renter is liable for any damages, injuries, or losses caused by the pet to property or third parties. CritterShare provides basic liability insurance, but Renters are encouraged to review their own homeowner's or renter's insurance policies.
